Jay-Z To Take A Break From Music?

Hip-hop and rap star Jay-Z has hinted that he may take a break from music following the birth of his and wife Beyonce's daughter Blue Ivy Carter.

The superstar, who's hosting his own musical festival in September, had apparently hoped that the birth of his first child would inspire him to put pen to paper for some new material – but it turns out, he just wants to spend time with her, and may even take a break from the music scene to 'hang out' with Carter.

“I thought that I would [be inspired to write] after my daughter was born,” Jay-Z told MTV. “I thought I would be more inspired with all the new feelings and everything that I'd have to write about, but it really happened the other way. I just really wanna hang out with her. I just wanna enjoy those moments for a bit and I'm sure that feeling of music will come back to me.”

But, while he may be looking to spend more time with his daughter, he'll definitely still be touring alongside Kanye West as the Watch the Throne pair travel to the UK later this week. Check the dates and details below to grab yourself tickets to any of their shows.
