Tenacious D have unveiled another hilarious video for new album track 'Low Hangin' Fruit'.
Tenacious D recently claimed that their new album 'Rize of the Fenix', out now, is better than Jack White's debut solo album 'Blunderbuss' and the Foo Fighter's latest LP offering.
The band are so happy with the new material they've managed to produced that they reckon it's better than stuff from Jack White, Foo Fighters, Tom Waits and Gotye. Judge for yourself and check out the video for 'Low Hangin' Fruit' below.
Speaking to Reuters.com, Jack Black revealed: "I do love Jack White's 'Blunderbuss', I love the Foo Fighters, I love Tom Waits, his new record is incredible and Goyte. But our album is better than all of those, and because we're clowns, we don't get that kind of love. In a 100 years' time, no one will remember Gotye or the rest, but the shining beacon of The D, they're going to start religions after us.”
Jack went on to talk about his commitment to the duo, saying that although he may be a big-time actor, he always has time for 'the D'.
“I go and do some other stuff, but I always come back to the D, because it's the best stuff, it's the stuff I get the most satisfaction for,” Black confessed. “On Tenacious D island, all things are equal, me and Kyle are on level-playing fields.”
