Yeasayer Return With New Album 'Fragrant World'

Yeasayer are back! The band is set to release 'Fragrant World' on 20th August 2012 on Mute, the follow up to 2010’s 'Odd Blood'.
Last week, the band sent 200 random fans a physical CD of the first track ‘Henrietta’ and encouraged them to share it. Yeasayer wanted the fans to experience the music first and told them so in an accompanying letter. The track went up a few days later and was picked up across the world. The track is now streaming online here.
'Fragrant World', produced by Yeasayer, is seething with sonics that construct eleven outstanding tracks that act together and also in a solo existence.
Yeasayer have produced something that sounds foreign at first, but after a few studies is filled with the hooks the band is known for. This is not a dish of pop rocks like 'Odd Blood', instead 'Fragrant World' is something much weirder and darker.
