Lady Gaga Makes History With 25Million Twitter Followers

Eccentric pop superstar Lady Gaga has broken yet another record on social networking site Twitter – after she became the first person on the site to amass 25,000,000 followers today.
The star is known for her incredibly large following on the internet and social networking sites, including 51,000,000 followers on Facebook and 168,200,000 YouTube views. But, it's Twitter where the star really has the firmest grip, and leads the pack in terms of followers – beating celebrities like Justin Bieber and Katy Perry.
Tweeting about the feat, Gaga wrote: “"#25milliontweetymonsters wow! I'm officially feeling like the luckiest girl in the world today. Last sold out show in Singapore in 2 hrs!” 'Monsters' refers to her army of fans, who are affectionately known as little monsters.
The quarter-century milestone doesn't surprise, because Gaga was also the first to break the 10million, 15million, and 20million barrier on the site, and is likely to be the first to 30million – unless Bieber, Perry, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Shakira or Taylor Swift can catch up on her.
