Japanese singer-songwriter Tomoyasu Hotei has announced his first appearance in the UK since he revealed he was moving to London, and will perform a one-off show in the English capital this December.
The talented guitarist, who rose to fame in the 80s playing with famous Japanese rock band Boøwy, will bring his signature rock sound to the Roundhouse in London on December 18th. Tickets will go on a limited pre-sale via Stereoboard at 9am on Wednesday (June 13th) morning, and will cost £28.50 + booking fees. You can find your tickets through Stereoboard by checking the links below.
The 50 year-old rock veteran is a big star in his home country and was last year voted as the second best guitarist that could represent Japan in a country-wide poll. He's probably most known for his track 'Battle Without Honour or Humanity', which you'll recognise from the film Kill Bill – and dozens of other films, television programmes, video games, and adverts.
The show is likely to sell-out and is his first gig in the city after announcing that he was to move here, in hopes of broadening his career to an international artist. If you're a fan, it is more than a not-to-be-missed gig, it's a the beginning of a new era in Hotei's career. To find tickets, check below.
