Bloc Party have confirmed a UK tour for October, following the recent announcement that they will release their new album in August. Bloc Party Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday 22nd June.
Now signed to Frenchkiss Records, Bloc Party have revealed that their forthcoming new album 'Four' will be released on August 20th. The band have been working on the new record for around a year, and will be putting it out later this year following a period with few live gigs and appearances. It is the follow-up to their most recent album release 'Intimacy', which came out in 2008, and is their fourth LP to date. The band have put together a YouTube video previewing the album, and you can check it out below.
The new UK tour will follow a busy Summer for Bloc Party. The band head out to Europe and the US in July and August.
