Ginger Wildheart Releases New Triple Album '555' Via Pledge Music

PledgeMusic, the international direct-to-fan music company, is celebrating one of its most successful pledge campaigns to date with Ginger Wildheart, frontman of UK rock act The Wildhearts, A high chart entry is anticipated due to Ginger generating nearly £200,000 with pre-orders.

ImageGinger has titled the triple album '555%' and has announced the release for June 25th. '555%', the 30-track album, was available exclusively to pledgers as a digital download, a 3 CD or vinyl deluxe package or a bundle of different formats. Pledgers then had the opportunity to vote for their favourite tracks, making up the single-disk commercial release, '100%'.

'100%' will be available as a 12-track physical or digital album to the general public, also released on June 25th.

Other premium offerings available in the PledgeMusic campaign included a chance for fans to get themselves added to the albums liner notes and an exclusive DVD, which details the making of the record and incudes never-before-seen, on-the-road footage.

Both '555%' and '100%' have been distributed and fulfilled in partnership with Townsend Music. Pre-sales have been exceptionally strong with the campaign target exceeded by almost 600% and an anticipated Top 10 midweek chart position leading up to the album releases.

Malcolm Dunbar, Managing Director of PledgeMusic said: “Ginger Wildheart is an artist who has always enjoyed a special relationship with his fans. They have demonstrated their continued loyalty to him by backing the campaign to the extent they have. 555% is a fantastic album and has real fan momentum behind it, which is a great endorsement of how PledgeMusic is able to empower artists.”

In addition, Ginger has also pledged to donate a 10% share of all profits to Save the Children. For further information, please visit www.pledgemusic.com.
