Red Hot Chili Peppers To Release 18 Singles Over Next 6 Months

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced that they’ll be releasing 18 brand new singles over the next six months - all of which will be pressed onto 7” vinyl.
The revelation comes after a surge in vinyl sales in recent times, as the unbeatable quality and unparalleled fun of vinyl tries to claw back some of the ground lost to digital formats in recent times.
The 18 tracks were recorded during their sessions for ‘I’m With You’, the band’s most recent album. Singles ‘Strange Man' and 'Long Progression' will be the first to see a release on August 11th, whilst 'Magpies' and 'Victorian Machinery' are set to hit shelves on September 11th.
“Some songs seem to have a lot more of an agenda than others,” guitarist Josh Klinghoffer said of the tracks. “Some songs play well with others and some songs need more attention and a little extra care. Here are some songs that seemed to want to pair up and take a later train. Keep your eye on them, they're up to something.”
