Justin Bieber Grilled By David Letterman Over 'Believe' Tattoo

Canadian superstar Justin Bieber may be growing out of the tween image, however, despite turning 18, he still gets special treatment from a lot of the older stars - especially talk-show host David Letterman. This time though, Bieber was left less than impressed after Letterman grabbed his brand new ‘Believe’ tattoo and gave him a scolding!
The ‘Baby’ singer made an appearance on the host’s popular US talk show to promote his brand new album ‘Believe’, and, in what looked like a scene between grandfather and grandson, ended up getting into a debate about tattoos and how they may affect his image. Letterman didn’t stop at tattoos, either, he then tried to lecture the star on the importance of voting and getting a college education before later apologising for his particularly patronising behaviour.
The exchanges started with Letterman asking the star: “Explain this to me, is that a new tattoo?” Bieber then replied: “This is a new tattoo. I have a … just a couple.” A concerned Letterman retorted: “Well, tell me that’s the last one!” -To which a sheepish Bieber said: “Might be.” The two then continued to debate the ink for a number of minutes which resulted in Bieber getting rather unhappy at Letterman, who grabbed his ‘brand new’ - and probably rather sore - tattoo.
