The Who, George Michael, Take That and Robbie Williams, four of the Britain’s biggest acts of the last forty years, are to perform at the London 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony.
It has been reported, via www.lbc.co.uk, that each act will deliver two of their hit songs during their individual performances - and with a total of 23 UK Number 1s between them all, any guesses as to who will be performing what?
Artistic Director Kim Gavin will be in charge of the ceremony concert which takes place on Sunday 12th August from 9.00pm. Incidentally, Kim was also the chap who lead the production team for Take That's stunning 'Progress' tour in 2011.
In addition to performances from The Who, George Michael, Take That and Robbie Williams, it is also understood that modern pop chart kings JLS and One Direction are also set to feature on the concert's bill.
