The Charlatans' Tim Burgess Announces Solo UK Tour & Tickets

Frontman with Madchester's indie gods The Charlatans, Tim Burgess has confirmed dates for a run of solo gigs this October. Tim Burgess Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday.
When not fronting The Charlatans, Tim Burgess, who is currently writing and recording a new solo album alongside friends and relatives, also performs solo gigs playing a mix of old favourites and new tunes. A busy man, he is also an in-demand DJ playing a heady mix of northern soul, funk and indie when behind the decks.
The announcement of this new solo run follows the news that Tim has released a tell-all biography that features some of the crazy hijinks that he got up to in his hey-day. ‘Telling Stories’ is a revealing insight to the life of a wild rockstar, and tells many of the incredible stories that fans would only usually hear in rumours and rock n’ roll folklore.
The Charlatans have a number of UK dates coming up for this summer. Following the summer shows, Tim will play a run of six solo dates across the UK in October.
