Californian duo Deap Vally arrive in the UK next month for their much-anticipated debut London show.
A 48-hour whirlwind visit to the UK earlier this month saw Lindsey Troy and Julie Edwards record their first ever UK session (a brilliant live performance of their debut single 'Gonna Make My Own Money' with Best Fit Sessions), pick-up plays from Zane Lowe, Steve Lamacq, John Kennedy and Mary Anne Hobbs, and also featured as The Independent's One To Watch and as The Guardian's New Band Of The Day.
Hailing from the San Fernando Valley, Deap Vally break blues down to its simplest, most fundamental form: beat, melody, and meaning, while their scorching live shows are fast becoming the stuff of legend.
The duo release their debut single, 'Gonna Make My Own Money', on Ark Recordings on July 30th. You can also watch the live video for new track ‘Baby I Call Hell’ below.
