Various Cruelties Unveil Video For New Single 'Chemicals' & UK Festival Dates

Various Cruelties have announced details of the release of a new single. 'Chemicals', taken from their self-titled debut album, will be released on Monday July 30th 2012. It single also features a cover of Ian Brown’s 'F.E.A.R.' which has become a live favourite in recent Various Cruelties sets.
The single was recorded as part of the album sessions with Tony Hoffer (Beck, Goldfrapp, Foster the People) and follows the release of previous singles 'Neon Truth' and 'Great Unknown', which they performed on Later with Jools Holland alongside Lou Reed and Metallica, Steve Earle and Aaron Neville.
Having recently played a couple of U.K. headline tours, which culminated in sold-out shows at London’s 100 Club, the Cockpit in Leeds and a 2nd London gig at the Hoxton Bar & Kitchen, Various Cruelties have announced details of a run of festivals across the summer.
June 29th - Hop Farm Festival
July 7th - Barn on the Farm Festival
July 8th - Lounge on the Farm Festival
July 20th - Tramlines Festival
July 29th - Kendal Calling Festival
Aug 3rd - Y-Not Festival
