Liam Gallagher's Beady Eye To Perform Oasis Songs During Stone Roses Support Slot

Manchester rock Liam Gallagher has revealed that he and his new band Beady Eye have finally started playing Oasis tracks again - just in time for their slot supporting The Stone Roses on Saturday night.

It’s common knowledge that Liam and Noel had many a harsh word during the split of stadium-fillers Oasis, and, following the birth of Liam’s new project Beady Eye, everyone’s been wondering how long it’ll take him to start performing tracks by his old band again - especially as the majority of Oasis songs were written by Noel himself.

Well, three years down the line, and it looks as though Liam’s finally ready to sing his brother’s lyrics once again - Beady Eye performed both ‘Morning Glory’ and ‘Rock n’ Roll Star’ in Warrington last night.

It follows Liam’s claims that he’d be using the tunes earlier this year, although he has only just managed to bring himself to play them out.

“I feel they're just as much my songs as they are Noel's,” Liam explained. “And if people don't like it, go to the bar or fuck off. If they do like it, jump up and down, let's have a good time.”

If you want to catch Beady Eye alongside The Stone Roses, The Wailers, Professor Green, and Hollie Cook, check the dates and details below - they’ll be performing on the Saturday of the three dates.
