American indie-rock outfit Band of Horses have announced a handful of November UK tour dates, which will most likely coincide with the release of the band’s fourth album.
Stereoboard reported last week that Band of Horses were expected to announce a tour, and they’ve now gone through with the speculation and revealed four UK dates in major British cities - including London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Glasgow.
Earlier this year in April, lead vocalist Ben Bridwell revealed that Band of Horses' fourth studio album was scheduled for release in late 2012, and ast month the band shared a video preview of new song 'Dumpster World' via their Facebook page. The video also revealed that a new album will arrive in September 2012 - meaning their November tour will be packed full of new material.
Band of Horses' third album 'Infinite Arms' has been widely acknowledged as their defining moment and the band's recent tour shows have been some of their strongest performances yet. Combined with their forthcoming new material, it makes their four UK dates even tastier for fans - you can grab tickets this Friday July 13th at 9am.
Band of Horses UK tour dates are as follows:
15th November - HMV Institute, Birmingham
16th November - O2 Academy, Glasgow
19th November - Academy, Manchester
20th November - HMV Hammersmith Apollo, London
Tickets onsale Friday July 13th at 9am - £18.50 + fees (London £20.00 + fees)
