Owl City Announces October UK Tour

Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Adam Young - a.k.a Owl City - has announced a handful of UK tour dates for this October, ahead of the release of his fourth studio album ‘The Midsummer Station’.

Owl City's Adam Young has been out of the spotlight for some time now, busy writing a brand new studio album. With a UK release just around the corner, Owl City will return to the live stage on 7th August at London's Kings College - before commencing a full tour of the UK this October.

The trip will see Young performing in London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Oxford - while more dates are expected to be announced. Tickets are onsale this Friday (July 13th) at 12pm - you’ll be able to find them through Stereoboard.

After album track 'Dementia' leaked online, fans have been left excited and intrigued about what else the forthcoming new record holds. Some have described the partnership of Adam and Blink-182's Mark Hoppus as the perfect pairing - you can check out the track below.

Adam spoke about the track 'Dementia' and revealed the song was written following the success of his successful 2009 debut album 'Ocean Eyes. He describes the track as “crazy, schizophrenic thoughts and feelings”, all of which he experienced after the release of his debut record.

Owl City’s new album is set to hit shelves in the UK on September 17th, while it gets a release on August 21st everywhere else.
