Ronan Keating Announces Release Of New Album 'Fires'

Ronan Keating has today announced he will release his first new material in six years, confirming his brand new studio album ‘Fires’ will be released through Polydor Records on September 3rd 2012.

‘Fires’ is set to feature some of the best songs of Ronan’s career, teaming with rousing, exhilarating guitar anthems with yearning, heart-rending ballads that really showcase Ronan’s voice at its best.

Ronan is reinvigorated and beginning a new phase, returning to the music he is passionate about with stunning results. The album will include the extraordinary new single of the same name which gets it’s first radio play tomorrow, July 20th.

The new album sees Ronan reunited with song writing partners Greg Alexander and Rick Nowells for the first time since 2003. Previously, the song-writing team penned some of Ronan’s biggest hits including ‘Life Is A Rollercoaster’ and ‘Lovin Each Day’. Ronan has also worked with some old friends including Steve Lipson (‘Last Thing On My Mind’), Brian Rawlings at Metrophonic and Don Mescall, plus hot new Swedish producers Electric and the writing team of Paddy Dalton and Mathias Wollo.

Speaking about the album, Ronan said: “The album is back to proper pop again. I’ve been working with the guys behind ‘Life Is A Rollercoaster’ again. I’ve been spending my time getting this album just right and I’m excited about people hearing it.”

Still one the UK’s biggest and best loved male solo artists twelve years after his Number 1 debut solo album, Ronan has since sold over 25 million records worldwide as a solo artist and has notched up multiple Number 1 albums and singles.
