Scouting For Girls To Perform Free Concert At London's Hyde Park This Sunday!

It has been confirmed that pop three-piece Scouting For Girls will perform in Hyde Park on 29th July as part of London’s biggest FREE celebration of the London 2012 Olympic Games. The band will perform on Hyde Park’s main stage, between the broadcast on giant screens of the best of the days sporting action, courtesy of the BBC. Olympic sporting events on 29th July will include: Beach Volleyball, Boxing, Basketball and Diving.
Scouting For Girls are one of the biggest pop bands in the world with over two million record sales, 4 Brit Award Nominations, 1 Ivor Novello nomination, and 4 Top 10 singles. The British pop band release their third studio album 'The Light Between Us' on 3rd September 2012, preceded by first single 'Summertime In The City' on 26th August 2012.
BT London Live Hyde Park and Victoria Park has something for everyone, from live music to watching the 100 metres final on a huge screen, the 55m high BT Observation Wheel in Victoria Park giving views of the Olympic Park, have-a-go sports, plus al-fresco Sports Bars and much more. A great line-up of artists has already been announced for Hyde Park, they include: Tom Jones, McFly, The Feeling, Feeder, Dodgy, The Levellers, Cast, Amy Macdonald, Paul Carrack Kenny Thomas and the cast of ‘We Will Rock You’.
The BT Vision Stage will also include live daily performances at 4pm from artists such as Conor Maynard, The Noisettes, Tinchy Stryder, Aiden Grimshaw, Jodie Marie, Dot Rotten, Stooshe, Spector, Roots Manuva, Dry the River, King Charles, Josh Osho, Alex Clare, Lucy Rose and Benjamin Francis Leftwich.
