
With Reading Festival fast approaching, organisers have announced that 3,000 additional weekend tickets for the event are now available. With Reading tickets on the verge of selling out by the coming weekend Reading Borough Council have this week approved an increase in capacity to 89,999. This means the continued demand for tickets can now go some way to being met which is fantastic news for Reading Festival fans!
Organisers do however anticipate all remaining weekend tickets, including the extra 3,000 made available, to be sold out by August 20th so would urge fans still looking to purchase tickets to move quickly. These tickets will be the last ones available from official ticket agents and outlets so be sure to book now to guarantee your place at one of the greatest festivals in the world.
Reading Sunday day tickets are already sold out and only a small number of Reading Friday and Saturday day tickets remain. Festival goers are reminded that there is no on site box office this year, so make sure your tickets are purchased in advance!
Headliners The Cure, Kasabian, Foo Fighters take to the stage, alongside many more artists including: The Black Keys, Paramore, Florence + the Machine, Kaiser Chiefs, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Vaccines, Justice, The Maccabees, At The Drive-In, Less Than Jake, Metronomy, Sleigh Bells, The View, Social Distortion, Reginald D Hunter, Lee Nelson, Jason Byrne are just some of the bands and acts preforming at this year’s festival over seven stages.

NCP car parks are offering a limited number of guaranteed car parking spaces for the Reading Festival in their NCP Garrard Street car park. The car park is located opposite the main Reading train station, from where you can then get a shuttle bus direct to the site, or walk the 15 mins to site. There are only 500 car park spaces for festival-goers though and the festival rate is a reduced £20, plus £1.50 booking fee, for the entire festival (Wednesday 22nd August – Monday 27th August). You can book now by calling NCP direct on 0845 050 7086, Monday – Friday 12 noon until 5pm. Once you have your car park exit ticket, you will need to keep hold of this all weekend, so please keep it somewhere very safe, like the lockers on G4 road. This arrangement is direct with NCP and we cannot take responsibility for any losses or damage.
