Don Diablo Unveils Music Video For New Track 'The Golden Years' - Watch Now

Dutch DJ/Producer, and recent Columbia records signing, Don Diablo has unveiled the video to new track 'The Golden Years'.
Don has become an influential name across the dance community, thanks to his recognizable trademark sound and successful collaborations with Example, Diplo and Dragonette amongst others. Since signing to Sony Music the Dutchman has been working on new material in the studio with writers such as Angela Hunte (Jay-Z and Alicia Keys / Magnetic Man) and Takura (Chase & Status / Redlight). The 'Lights Out' EP will be the first in a series of EP's to be released over the following months through Columbia Records.

The first track to be released off the EP will be 'The Golden Years'. Don says: "The Golden Years is an ode to the people I love, the city I grew up in and the fans who have been supporting me from the start. The video has been over six months in the making and was shot in 15 different countries, on three different cameras, and features cameos from my parents, Martin Solveig, the hardcore fans, Dragonette, the love of my life, Diplo, Noisia and the family dog amongst others. I feel like it's by far my most personal video to date." Watch the video for The Golden Years below.
The second track of the EP will be 'Lights Out Hit' featuring Angela Hunte. Don comments: "It was an absolute joy to work with Angela who I knew from her work with Jay-Z ('Empire State of Mind') and Magnetic Man ('I Need Air'). I played her this new instrumental I just finished and she immediately reacted to it with the words "It's a lights out hit!". That phrase really stuck with me and we ended up building a track around it. The video we shot for it really builds on the tribal feeling of the record and features not only Angela, a very talented African dancer and myself but also a random selection of fluffy animals."
Don Diablo has already amassed an amazing online following so far, with several Number 1 positions on the Hype Machine, and over 15 million views on YouTube. He also DJs across the globe; from Glastonbury and Space Ibiza, to Fabric and the Future Music Festival tour, as well as remixing the likes of Labrinth, Tinie Tempah, Mika, Public Enemy, Cassius, Gorillaz and The Chemical Brothers to name but a few.
