Superstar rapper Eminem has reportedly confirmed that he’s recorded with eccentric pop singer Lady Gaga for a new track, which will ‘definitely’ see a release a single.

ImageUPDATE: Eminem's manager, Paul Rosenberg, has since denied the reports that the rapper has worked alongside Lady Gaga on a brand new track. Taking to his Twitter account to quash the rumours, Rosenberg claims that the rap star was falsely quoted and comments: "People don't hear from Marshall for a spell and they just start making stuff up. Thirsty world.".

Speaking to MTV RapFix, Eminem said: “Yeah, I got this crazy record with Gaga and Kendrick for the upcoming LP. Its called 'Street Lights', and its just a real upbeat record. We don't have a release date yet, but it'll be after Slaughterhouse's album.”

The news is rather surprising as Eminem has dissed Lady Gaga in tracks in the past (he uses the line ‘Tell Lady Gaga she can quit her job at the post office / She's still a male lady' in his track ‘A Kiss’), but the rapper has now claimed that jokes like that are just part of what hip-hop is about - saying: “That was one of them things where sometimes I get a joke in my head and I kinda want to share it with the world. You know, it's all in fun, it's hip-hop.”

What’s unsure at the moment is whether it’ll feature on Gaga’s recently announced ’ARTPOP’ album, or Eminem’s own forthcoming record - so stay with Stereoboard to find out more as info sufaces.
