Alexisonfire Announce Brixton Show As Part Of Farewell Tour

Canadian post-hardcore outfit Alexisonfire have announced a super special, one-off performance in London today, which will act as a farewell to their scores of UK fans.

The band decided that they’d split last year in 2011, but the decision came just after the band had finished a tour - meaning none of their fans, or even the band, realised that the shows would be their last. So,it includes a gig in London’s O2 Academy Brixton this December 3rd, as well as shows in Brazil, Australia, and, of course, Canada. The tour will round off with two huge gigs in Toronto.

The band split in 2011 after two of its vocalists and guitarists - Dallas Green and Wade MacNeil - declared that they’d be leaving the band - MacNeil is now part of the new-look Gallows, who in turn lost their original vocalist Frank Turner. But, in a farewell to their fans, they’ll be reuniting for a nine-date tour - which could even be extended in the near future. For more info on the dates, check the website here, whilst you can find ticket info for the London gig below.

Tickets for the O2 Academy Brixton gig go onsale Friday 17th August at 9am - you can find yours through Stereoboard.

Alexisonfire UK tour dates are as follows:
