The Script have announced that they will perform three very special intimate concerts next month at Glasgow's O2 ABC on September 9th, Manchester's HMV Ritz on September 10th and O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London on September 12th. The Script Tickets are on sale from 9am on Wednesday 15th August.
The Script, who have opted to play the low-key shows to allow them to get close to fans, revealed they didnt want to lose the intimate feeling, despite having played a number of stadium sized venues. The trio have even created a special set list - to optimise their shows.
Band guitarist Mark Sheehan told OK!: "One of the things that gets us buzzing as a band is when we are close to fans and can touch hands. So we designed the set so can still get close to the crowd,so that they feel the energy and we feel the energy."
The shows will coincide with the release of The Script's third studio offering '#3'. The album's lead single, 'Hall Of Fame', which features Black Eyed Pea Will.i.am, is set for release on 2nd September. The album will follow on 10th September.
