Max Raptor Unveil New Single 'Patron Saint (Of Nothing)' Ahead Of Reading/Leeds Festival Appearance

The unmistakable roar of the Midlands’ favourite new alt-rock four-piece returns as Max Raptor release new single 'Patron Saint (Of Nothing)' on 26th August in support of their Reading and Leeds Festival appearance on the BBC Introducing stage.

Taken from their debut mini-album ‘Portraits’, heralded for painting candid micro-sketches of British society, the frenzied stomp and mob vocal of 'Patron Saint (Of Nothing)' depicts our embarrassing obsession with celebrity culture and the narcissistic social decay that it breeds in the impressionable youth.

Having already opened for Billy Talent, The Stranglers, The Darkness, New Model Army, Kids In Glass Houses and Lower Than Atlantis, Max Raptor transcend genre and generation with their distinctive and accessible 21st century cocktail of alt-rock and punk.

Max Raptor’s Reading and Leeds Festival (25th-26th Aug) appearances are the culmination of a hardworking summer on the UK festival circuit. ‘Patron Saint (Of Nothing)’ will be the last single release before Max Raptor return to the studio with a sophomore long-player in their sights for 2013.
