Following the chart-topping success of debut album 'Contrast', Conor Maynard has today confirmed a new UK tour for October. Conor Maynard Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday 24th August.
Brighton-based chart sensation Conor celebrated his Number 1 album with performances at last weekend's V Festival, where he appeared at the Union Arena with his full band.
Having beaten off stiff competition from the likes of Plan B, as well as attracting a wealth of great reviews (check out Stereoboard's review here), 'Contrast' has firmly established Conor Maynard as one of the brightest new stars on the UK’s music scene.
Conor is set to release his next single on October 8th. ‘Turn Around’ features Ne-Yo duetting with Conor, fulfilling the promise he first saw in the young British singing sensation two years ago when his interest sparked the bidding war that eventually led to Conor signing to Parlophone Records.
Produced by Stargate, ‘Turn Around’ is an atmospheric and uplifting urban-pop track; a perfect hands-in-the-air anthem.
This new tour will be Conor's second of 2012. He first hit the road for a short string of dates to coincide with the release of 'Contrast' in July.
