Michael Kiwanuka Unveils Video For New Single 'Bones' - Watch Now

Following the unanimous praise for his Top 5 debut album 'Home Again' in March (with 400,000+ sales to date worldwide), Michael Kiwanuka follows-up the singles 'I'll Get Along', 'Home Again' and 'I'm Getting Ready' with the release of 'Bones' on the 24th September.

The video for 'Bones' is directed by Tim Henze, who was responsible for the iconic video for the title track from Michael's debut EP 'Tell Me A Tale' back in April 2011.

With sold out tours across Europe and the US and debut shows in Australia and Japan already under his belt, Michael will return to the UK and Ireland next month for his final festival slots of the summer at Bestival and Electric Picnic. He will then return to mainland Europe and US for further tours before heading back to the UK for his biggest ever headline show at London’s Royal Festival Hall in December.

The buzz Stateside has been rapidly building since the summer release of 'Home Again' on those shores. Primetime television performances (Late Show with Letterman) and influential college radio sessions have translated into the press broadly proclaiming Michael Kiwanuka as the UK’s next big success story. The US version of 'Home Again' also features Michael’s collaboration with The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, ‘Lasan’, recorded in Ray Davies’ London based Konk Studios.

It has been a very fine 12 months for the BBC Sound of 2012 winner, but with new songs already being played out live, there promises to be plenty to follow from this distinctive young British soul artist.

Michael Kiwanuka 2012 UK And Ireland Live Dates are as follows:

Sept 1st - Electric Picnic Festival, Ireland
Sept 9th - Bestival, Isle of Wight.
Dec 5th - Royal Festival Hall, London
