Grime star P Money has released his latest EP ‘Dubsteppin’, a collection of four new tracks - including his collaboration with Zinc ‘Lets Go’ and the bass-heavy title track - via Rinse.
Hearing him adapt seamlessly from the staccato pulses of grime to the loping bounce of 'Dubsteppin', it's clear that, for P Money, MCing comes as naturally as breathing.
The first track to appear from his much anticipated debut album through Rinse, it finds him at the top of his game, his words flowing out across a languid, neon-tinted beat. As anthemic as it is colossally heavy, on 'Dubsteppin' P's promises to "make the vibe much better" ring especially true - expect to hear the track burning up dancefloors and the Rinse FM schedule over the next few months, blazing a trail for the arrival of his album.
The EP itself also feature Zinc and P’s headnod-inducing track ‘Lets Go’, a dark dubstep/grime crossover in ‘Roll Call’, and a more melodic track in ‘Shutting Down’, completing what manages to be an eclectic yet typically hard mix of tracks from P Money.
You can catch the star at the Warehouse Project Rinse Launch on September 28th, while he’ll also perform at Rinse’s 18th Birthday the day after. You can find tickets for these below - as well as a stream for the EP.
