Enter Shikari: 'It's Okay For Fans To Throw Bottles... Just Only At Chris Brown'

English post-hardcore outfit Enter Shikari have confessed that it’s okay to throw bottles (especially ones filled with piss) at performers whilst they’re onstage - as long as it’s Chris Brown.
Speaking to NME about the age-old dilemma of whether it’s acceptable to throw plastic piss missiles at bands or singers who perform at festivals (for example MCR, who’ve been bottled at every Reading Festival they’ve appeared at) or not, frontman Rou Reynolds suggested that it depends how fake and lifeless the band are - whilst his bandmate Rory Clewlow claimed that it’s only Chris Brown who deserves a golden hailstone shower.
“It's a difficult one, there's always going to be someone who likes them, no matter how awful they are, so you don't want to ruin someone else's experiences,” Reynolds sympathised. “If it's some sort of band that you can tell it's fake and there's no soul, then maybe. I've had a bottle of piss thrown at me, but only by Rob, our drummer.”
Clewlow then chipped in: “I'd say it's ok to bottle Chris Brown. That's the only person.”
