Whitechapel-based trio Glitches have announced that their debut single ‘Leper’ will see a release on October 8th - and will be giving away ‘No Prisoners’ as a free download to celebrate.
The enigmatic band’s highly-anticipated debut has finally been given a release date, and to celebrate, you can now listen to and download their track ‘No Prisoners’ for absolutely free. Glitches have also unveiled a brand new live music video for the track, which you can see below.
Occupying a former college of law, situated above a nightclub and African mafia den, Glitches live, write, and record together. They have diverse musical inspirations and idols, ranging from Francisco Tarrega, Maurice Ravel, through to Catullus, via Isaac Mtshali, and Massive Attack. Their music draws on everything from Kafka, to Constable, and The Decline And Fall of the Roman Empire.
The band are spearheading an exciting local scene, performing in their own series of live music events called ‘Halcyon Nights’. These also provide a platform for like-minded musicians, artists, and DJs. It's chaos (within reason).
You can catch Glitches in London’s The Garage venue on October 9th - check below for tickets.
