Hip-hop and pop star Tinchy Stryder has been confirmed as the support act for Cheryl’s up-and-coming UK headline tour.
The Girls Aloud star released her third studio solo album ‘A Million Lights’ back in June, and will be hitting the road for her first ever UK headline tour come October time. Fans were already excited to see their favourite Geordie singer live in action this autumn - now they’ve been given an extra helping of good news, after it was revealed that super popular singer and rapper Tinchy Stryder would be warming up for Cheryl.
The tour kicks off in Belfast on October 3rd, and sees her and Stryder performing gigs in Dublin, Nottingham, London, Sheffield, Liverpool, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, and her hometown of Newcastle. Tickets are onsale now, and you couldn’t pick a better time to buy - some are selling for below face value, meaning you can buy them for cheaper than ever. Tinchy Stryder was 2009’s biggest selling male solo artist in the UK., and over the past two years the rapper has scored a string of hit singles, a top-selling album, and has embarked on nationwide sell-out headline tours. Tinchy also had the prize role of opening the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury in 2010 and provided the support on Akon and Rihanna's UK shows, two of the UK's biggest tours of 2011.
After enjoying success with his three previous albums, his fourth ‘Full Tank’ will hit shelves in December 2012 - and will also be accompanied a series of his own headline UK live dates.
