Yellowcard Announce February/March 2013 UK Tour & Tickets

American pop-punk outfit Yellowcard have announced a six-date tour of the UK today, following the release of their eighth studio album ‘Southern Air’.
The set of dates - which take place in 2013 - see the quintet cross the pond for a gig in Portsmouth’s Wedgewood Rooms on February 25th, before hitting London’s KOKO the following day. The band then travel to Glasgow, Manchester’s HMV Ritz on March 1st, Coventry Kasbah a day later and finally hit up Norwich’s Waterfront on the 5th. Tickets for the tour go onsale this Friday (September 21st) at 9am, and will cost you £14.50 + fees (London £15.00 + fees) - you can find yours through Stereoboard using our ticket comparison service.
Yellowcard is Ryan Key (vocals/guitar), Sean Mackin (violin), Longineu “LP” Parsons (drums), Ryan Mendez (guitar) and Josh Portman (bass). 'Southern Air' was produced by Neal Avron and features guest vocals from Alex Gaskarth (All Time Low), Cassadee Pope (Hey Monday), and Tay Jardine (We Are The In Crowd).
Speaking about the LP, frontman Ryan Key said: “When Yellowcard decided to take a break in 2008, I had never felt so uncertain about my future. I decided the best thing for me to do was leave Los Angeles and relocate to the East Coast to be closer to my family. I landed in a small college town in north-east Georgia called Athens. It was such a crucial and developmental chapter in my life for which I will be forever grateful.”
