Mexican acoustic rock duo Rodrigo Y Gabriela have announced three UK shows for November 2012. Rodrigo Y Gabriela Tickets are on sale now.
Rodrigo Y Gabriela released their fourth album, ‘Area 52’, back in January and hit the road for a short string of February UK dates.
The album features the talents of C.U.B.A. – a 13-piece orchestra from Havana – making it Rodrigo Y Gabriela’s first recorded collaboration with another group of artists. On ‘Area 52’, Rodrigo Y Gabriela revisit nine of their earlier tracks and reinterpret them with their own unique spin. Other guests on the album include sitar player Anoushka Shankar, ex-White Zombie drummer and current drummer for The Cult John Tempesta, jazz bassist Carles Benavent and Palestinian group Le Trio Joubran.
Rodrigo Y Gabriela will play three UK shows in November, visiting Brimingham, Manchester and Bristol.
