Wayne Rooney To Draft In One Direction For Son's Birthday Party

Manchester United star Wayne Rooney is reportedly looking to give his son Kai the best third birthday party ever - and is looking into securing X Factor pop outfit One Direction to perform for it.
Kai’s birthday party takes place on November 2nd and, like most little kids nowadays, One Direction would probably be his dream performers. So, with enough cash in the bank, nothing’s stopping Rooney attempting to draft them in - and, according to The Daily Star, that’s exactly what he’s doing!
An insider told the paper: “The party will be on November 2, and Wayne is desperate to get One Direction on board. He wants them to perform a few hits in the back garden at their mansion in Prestbury, Cheshire. Wayne's particularly keen to hear them sing 'What Makes You Beautiful', a song he often sings to Kai to make him laugh.”
The source continued: “He's so keen he's even using some of his famous connections in the hope that it will persuade Harry and the rest of the lads to make an appearance.”
They also added that although One Direction would hopefully be in appearance, the party would be low key - with ‘just be family and friends.’
