Following the success of the NFL over here in the UK, the US is sending two of its NBA basketball teams to London for another league game - as more American games start to seep into the British sports world.
Basketball is one of America’s most loved sports, and in the past couple of years, the sport has been on the rise over here too - with the Harlem Globetrotters and the Olympic Games helping spread the word of the quick-paced game.
Now, the NBA has revealed that it will bring a fixture from it’s regular season - a competitive game which contribute to the NBA league - to London’s O2 Arena early on in 2013.
The show will take place on January 17th next year, and will see the New York Knicks pitted against the Detroit Pistons. Tickets for the game go onsale on October 30th and can be found through Stereoboard.
