Robbie Williams has sold out all three nights at London’s O2 Arena this morning, selling over 50,000 tickets in less than an hour.
These will be Robbie’s only UK shows for the rest of this year, and follow his incredible ballroom shows in September which saw ticket applications oversubscribed by 5000%.
Tickets for the dates were sold via Robbie's official website www.robbiewilliams.com who partnered with Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster said: “There was extraordinary demand today for the Robbie Williams concerts at The O2, probably the biggest onsale for a live event that we have witnessed so far in 2012. The tickets for these hugely anticipated concerts sold out in less than an hour. By using Ticketmaster’s Paperless Tickets initiative, the artist management has also ensured that all these tickets have gone to genuine Robbie fans.”
Robbie will play the O2 Arena on November 22nd, 23rd and 24th in a show that will combine a breadth of material from across his career including new songs from his hotly anticipated album ‘Take The Crown’, released by Island Records on November 5th. The single 'Candy' is released on October 29th.
