Electronic rock superstars Muse have claimed that their up and coming world tour will be their equivalent of Pink Floyd’s epic double album tour ‘The Wall’, which cemented the rockers place in history back in the late 70s and early 80s.
The iconic rockers are ready to take their legacy to the next level this year, and with the band’s popularity peaking, it looks as though they may well be in line to emulate the incredible success of Pink Floyd, who’s ‘The Wall’ tour is cemented in music history.
“I think it's going to be our best tour so far,” Muse’s Matt Bellamy told CBS Local It’s like our version of 'The Wall'," making reference Pink Floyd’s 1979 double album and subsequent tour. We've built this upside down pyramid structure which is full of video screens. Throughout the gig, it gradually comes down and consumes the band. So we end up eaten up by this pyramid thing, which is all very symbolic, of course. We blast out of it and escape.”
He added: “It's going to be a big experience. This is our Stonehenge tour!”
