North Queensland’s finest young psychos The Broken Needles release the new video for 'Saltflat Baby', the second single taken from their 2012 debut album 'Terra Nullius'. The video, shot in and around an abandoned stockman’s cottage halfway between Charters Towers and the band’s hometown of Townsville, showcases the rugged and unforgiving landscape that influenced the palette of their sprawling debut record.
The song itself is a barnstorming punk-rock stomper, layering the sordid murder balladry the band is known for over an aggressive, up-tempo Australian rock and roll drag race featuring a climactic guest guitar solo from The Middle East’s Jordan Ireland.
The band have made the track available via Soundcloud for a limited time.
