Rock and roll legend Rod Stewart has announced on BBC Radio 2 that he will be embarking on a UK tour in June 2013.
Speaking to radio host Steve Wright, Stewart promised his fans that he’d be hitting the road once again next year, for a slew of summer shows up and down the country.
The news follows the recent announcement that he’ll be releasing ‘Merry Christmas, Baby’ - his first ever Christmas album - later this month on the 30th. While it features a number of star duets and original songs, we doubt he’ll be performing them at his summer UK tour - but it does prove Stewart still has the heart for the studio and the stage!
Official tour dates and venues haven’t yet been confirmed, but stay with Stereoboard as we imagine they’ll surface soon - keep your eyes peeled on our page!
