Public Enemy star Flavor Flav is potentially facing up to six years in jail - after publicly threatening to attack an enemy with a knife!
The 53 year-old rapper was arrested by Las Vegas police recently after allegedly threatening to stab his fiancee’s 17 year-old son, and will appear in court today. His bail has been set at $23,000/£14,000, and if convicted, he may be facing up to six years in prison.
Unsurprisingly, it’s not the first time Flav - real name William Drayton Jr. - has found himself in trouble with the law - he was even robbing and burgarling while still in school, and received 90 days in jail for shooting his neighbour in 1993.
In fact, there’s not much Flav hasn’t got on his record - he currently boasts assault, burglary, robbery, domestic violence, multiple Schedule drug possession, driving with a suspended license, avoiding parking tickets, turning up late to meetings with a probation officer, driving with no license or insurance, and dangerous driving. Now, it looks like he’s added assault with a deadly weapon to his collection.
