The Vaccines To Perform Intimate Gigs Following May 2013 O2 Arena Show

English indie-rockers The Vaccines have revealed that they’ll be following up their highly-anticipated May 2013 headline London show with some more intimate gigs, which includes a stop in Leeds’ Millennium Square.
The award-winning and chart-topping quartet perform their biggest-ever headline gig in London’s O2 Arena on May 2nd, but will follow the show up with at least three smaller gigs across the country.
The new gigs will see The Vaccines performing in the Carlisle Sands Centre, Leeds’ Millennium Square, and at Venue Cymru in Llandudno on the 4th, 5th, and 6th of May 2013 respectively. Tickets for the new gigs go onsale this Friday at 9am - you can find yours through Stereoboard.
The Vaccines recently landed their first #1 album, after their second LP ‘Come Of Age’ topped UK charts earlier this month. Fighting off competition from Two Door Cinema Club’s ‘Beacon’, The Vaccines' sophomore record went on to sell 11,000 more copies. The standings see both bands earning their highest chart position of their careers.
The Vaccines enjoyed a sensational 2011, which saw the release of their debut album ‘What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?’ and a number of award wins, including XFM’s New Music Award. They’re set to hit the road in November to support ‘Come of Age’ - and will also now perform a handful of gigs in May next year.
