American alternative metal outfit Deftones have announced two 2013 UK gigs, which could be the first of a number of British tour dates.
The internationally-renowned band will perform in Birmingham’s O2 Academy on February 19th, before they head off to London’s O2 Academy Brixton the following day. While these are the only currently confirmed dates of the tour, keep your eyes peeled on Stereoboard as more are expected to hit the surface soon.
Tickets for the gigs go on sale this Friday (October 26th) at 10am - you can find yours through Stereoboard using our ticket price comparison service.
The tour will follow their hugely anticipated seventh album ‘Koi No Yokan’, which will hit shelves in November. Frontman Chino Moreno has compared the new record to their 2000 classic ‘White Pony’, saying: “The songs are very different from each other, not heavier or slower, but more dynamic, going towards several directions, it’s heavy, but beautiful.” You can check out ‘Tempest’, the first single to be taken from the record, below.
