Every time an act is booted from ITV reality singing contest The X Factor, thousands are left disappointed (or, in the case of Frankie Cocozza, completely unphased) as they watch their favourites’ chances of winning the SyCo record contract disappear. Usually, the acts are rather upset (or, in the case of Frankie Cocozza, high on loads of drugs) too - but Louis Walsh’s dynamic duo MK1 didn’t seem too bothered.
That’s because they (quite evidently, as the below video shows) went out and got absolutely trashed afterwards - seemingly enjoying some of the finer, more illegal things life has to offer. Which would explain why the urban duo - consisting of Charlie Rundle, 19, and Sim Dixon, 24 - looked like they were chewing bumble bees on ITV’s Daybreak on Monday morning.
Asked by host Lorraine Kelly whether they’d had any sleep, Charlie replied: ‘No I went out last night, I haven’t been to bed, I’ve just got in!’ - to which a less than surprised Lorraine Kelly retorts ”Did you?” Charlie then claims that any who had a photo with her would recognise that she’s wearing the same clothes in the interview as she was the night before.
Kelly then makes the observation that the pair ‘don’t look too down’ (they seem to be a lot more up than down!), before Charlie claims that she ‘loves’ their X Factor mentor Louis Walsh. Meanwhile, there’s rumours that someone called Mandy could be joining the group.
