Recently seen on Later with Jools Holland, the legendary American country music singer, Charley Pride starts his UK tour this Friday November 9th at London’s The indig02, followed by concerts at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall and Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.
Charley Pride is one of America’s most celebrated country music singers. His greatest musical success came in the early-to-mid 1970s when he became the best-selling performer for RCA Records since Elvis Presley. He has garnered 39 Number 1 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. Pride is one of the few African-American artists to experience success in country music, and only the second African American inducted into the Grand Ole Opry.
