Nine Inch Nails Rumoured To Have New Material In The Works

According to Nine Inch Nails’ front-man, Trent Reznor, the band have been working on new material - despite the bands 2009 20th anniversary farewell tour.

Since parting with the industrial rock band who last released an album in 2008, Reznor has been creating soundtracks for films such as “The Girls With The Dragon Tattoo” and Oscar-winning “The Social Network”. The singer-songwriter has also founded the post-industrial electronica sound of How To Destroy Angels, a project formed by Reznor, his wife Mariqueen Maandig and composer Atticus Ross who have recently released the video for their new EP “Keep It Together”.

Talking of the possibility of making anymore music with Nine Inch Nails, Reznor said, "All signs point to yes... Yeah, there will be new music. There are some things in the works”. He also added, "Stay tuned. We'll see what happens here”.

Speaking last year, the 47-year-old said he did not think of previous band Nine Inch Nails as “dead” but just temporarily away. He went on to say, “Nine Inch Nails are not dead by any means, but all the touring and record writing has been thrown off for a little bit".

Fans will wait with eager anticipation as the band hold out a lengthy wait until they come to any kind of decision.
