My First Tooth Release Follow Up Debut Album And Free Download Of New Single

My First Tooth are set to release their second album, “Love Makes Monsters” in early 2012 as a follow up to their debut album “Territories” which help them with considerable praise and a well built fanbase.

Their first album release was laden with praise from critics including The Word who described the album as “a full-on blast of raucous folk-pop thats all hoedown and no slowdown” alongside The Fly who rendered it “...seriously impressive...”. The first offering from their new album is their new single, “Past Broadcasts” which is posted as a free release on SoundCloud. The album is set to debut on December 3rd of this year with the help of Alcopop! Records.

The folk-pop band have travelled to places such as Berlin, Bridlington and London and worked with producers such as James Kenosha, producer of names such as Pulled Apart By Horses and Dry The River, Peter Abbott who has produced work with Athlete and Misty’s Big Adventure and Paul Pilot producer of Duke Special and Territories.

Frontman Ross K Witt has picked up where their previous record left off, singing about animals and ships alongside more pressing matters such as nostalgia and broken relationships, as lead single “Past Broadcast” shows.

The hard-edged and energetic form of the group helped them become a fixture of the UK Festival circuit this year, with appearances at venues such as Glastonbury, Summer Sundar, Bestival, Truck, 2000 Trees, The Great Escape, Swn and many more since the release of their debut album.

My First Tooth are set to Tour the UK at the end of this year in a handful of different venues. Please see below for a list of venues and dates.
