Singing star Robbie Williams has claimed that pop singer Jessie J won’t last long in the music scene - giving her just 18 months before she fades from the public eye.
The Take That man made the rather blunt comments on a Dutch television programme, claiming that although he’s a fan of the Jessie, he doesn’t rate her chances of keeping her star status.
Asked by television hosts what he thinks of the ‘Do It Like a Dude’ singer, Robbie replied: “She's not gonna last for very long, though, is she? She's great, Jessie. I give her 18 months.”
Williams’ verbal assault didn’t stop there - he then went on to slate all of the reality talent contests on television today, including The X Factor and The Voice, which Jessie J - and his Take That mate Gary Barlow - are judges.
"I don't watch it,” Williams told the programme. “Sometimes it's very difficult to go on the 'emotional journey with the contestants. I'm exhausted with how many times I'm to go on the emotional journey with this person who had a hard luck story and then da, da, da, da, blah, blah.”
Williams hits London’s O2 Arena for three dates later this month - for the dates and details, check below.
