Nine Inch Nails star Trent Reznor has been drafted in to help out on the forthcoming, currently-untitled new Queens of the Stone Age album.
The hugely-anticipated sixth record has already seen ex-drummer and Foo Fighters star Dave Grohl return to the kit, and Reznor has now completed a dream trio of Josh Homme, Dave Grohl, and himself.
Reznor broke the news himself via a Q+A session on Reddit, which saw him reply to a question about his current projects by saying that he was ‘helping Josh out on a new QOTSA track’.
Reznor also suggested that Nine Inch Nails and his new band How to Destroy Angels would be touring next year, saying that he was ‘starting rehearsals for two bands’ - as well as adding: “Cryptic additional comment: 2013.”
Stay with Stereoboard for more updates on the band - we’ll let you know more about the album as well as Grohl and Reznor’s contributions as info surfaces.
