New York punkers Such Gold have unveiled the brand new music video for their track ‘Two Year Plan’ - you can check it out below.
The new track features on their forthcoming album ‘Misadventures’, which the band are extremely excited to get out there
Such Gold guitarist Nate Derby, says “The idea for the song ‘Two Year Plan’ was one of the first that I brought to the table for the writing of 'Misadventures'. I remember writing the opening riff in the living room of my old apartment nearly two years ago and not having any idea what to do with it.
“Like most of the riffs I write I was eventually able to expand on it and figure out how we could build it into a great song. Skylar wrote the lyrics and vocal melodies for this one, and I remember him recording the vocal demos in the bus, as he did for many of our demos. It's a relatively simple song but it took us awhile to perfect. Was very happy that we unanimously decided that it had to be the opening track.”
The new video was directed by Behn Fannin (Panic At The Disco, The Young Veins) and was produced by Robby Starbuck Media. The band’s forthcoming album ‘Misadventures’ was produced by Steve Evetts (Every Time I Die, Saves The Day, Lifetime, The Dillinger Escape Plan) and Such Gold will be touring the UK with Funeral for a Friend in Jan / Feb.
