The Cramatics To Release Debut Single 'Like Gold' In January - Listen Now

Bournemouth based indie boys, The Cramatics have confirmed they’ll be releasing their debut single, ‘Like Gold’ on January 7th 2013.
From punchy guitars to a sing-along Cardigan-esque ‘woo-hoo’ chorus, ‘Like Gold’ isn’t your average break-up song. “It’s about when you think everything is going OK and then it’s over, out the blue,” says front man Chris Reardon. “It doesn't matter how well something is going, it’s still withering away when you don't know it,” echoed in the opening line, “Stars that shine the brightest are the stars that slowly die.”
It’s not all doom and gloom though, “The chorus is a bit different,” says Chris, “A resolution to how you feel. So it’s actually quite a positive song.” And don’t miss the feel good video, filmed in and around their Bournemouth studio, featuring some very impressive body-popping from break-dancing troupe, ROCK-IT.
With influences from artists like Ed Sheeran, Friendly Fires, Bombay Bicycle Club and Maroon 5, the band can already boast some stellar gigs alongside the likes of Rizzle Kicks, Maverick Sabre, Mikill Pane, XO Man and Clement Marfo & the Frontline.
Following a busy year, with highlights including the Beach Break Live Student Festival and numerous UK and international radio appearances, the band are now putting the finishing touches to their debut EP – due out early next year.
