Blondie Confirm 2013 Forestry Commission Live Concerts

New Yorkers Blondie have confirmed a very special tour of the nation’s woodlands next summer performing their hits as part of the Forestry Commission’s annual concert series ‘Forest Live’.
Armed with 40 years’ of era-defining tracks, Blondie are a fantastic addition to the summer series that has already signed up Paul Weller for a string of performances next year. After extensive touring, an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Blondie are still going as strong as they were 40 years ago.
Forest Live, organised by the Forestry Commission, brings music to new audiences without commercial branding or sponsorship. Income from the concerts is spent on improving the woodland for both people and wildlife.
Special guest each evening will be The Lightning Seeds performing an acoustic set of their perfect pop songs like ‘Pure’, ‘Lucky You’ and ‘Change’.

June 15th - Suffolk Thetford Forest
June 21st - Gloucestershire Westonbirt Arboretum
June 22nd - Kent Bedgebury Pinetum
June 28th - North Yorkshire Dalby Forest
June 29th - Staffordshire Cannock Chase Forest
July 6th - Cheshire Delamere Forest
